Moves to New York City from Upstate NY. Works as an assistant for photographer Herb Ritts.

Attends
 Parsons School of Design. Graduates with a BFA in Art Direction and Graphic Design.

Works at BBDO advertising New York. Helps create television campaigns for Pepsi, Gillette, Visa and General Electric. Attends evening painting classes at School of Visual Arts.

Forms Fierce Films ltd., a full service production and development company for music videos, commercials and independent features. Writes, directs and produces work for Elektra Entertainment, Sire Records, Giorgio Armani, MTV and Warner Brothers. Attends New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Continuing Education Program for Film, Television Writing and Production.

Produces and directs his first documentary feature with PBS entitled "March in April". Wins Best Documentary Award at the New York Independent Film Festival. Continues to paint primarily abstract oils.

Produces and Directs "Best Buddies" documentary for the Kennedy-Shriver Special Olympics Organization. Wins Best Documentary Short, Palm Springs Film Festival. Airs on Oprah.

Writes, produces and directs first full length feature comedy "Never Look Back". Previews at Cannes that same year. Wins Special Jury Award at the Miami Independent Film Festival. Press hails it "An instant cult classic!"

Writes, directs and produces independent feature "Double Parked". Premieres at Slamdance Film Festival. Wins Filmmaker Breakthrough Award. Castle Hill buys world rights. "Double Parked" has a successful run in Movie Theaters, Showtime, and Network Television.

Kinsella continues to write and paint large-scale abstract oils. He studied at The Arts Students League of NY where its roaster of former teachers and students boasts such talents as Georgia O'Keeffe, Jackson Pollack, Louise Nevelson and James Rosenquist.
